Idyllically located directly on Lake Hintersee, our Hotel-Gasthof Wörndlhof – Das Refugium is the perfect starting point for long hikes and walks in and around Berchtesgaden National Park. Whether you want to take a walk around the picturesque Hintersee lake before enjoying our extensive breakfast buffet or go on long hikes in the neighbouring enchanted forest, there are plenty of options here on the well-maintained hiking trails.

For those of you who want to be a little more active, mountain hikes to the peaks and alpine pastures of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps are on the agenda. Explore the Jenner, Hochkalter or Göll with your four-legged friend, to name but a few. You can then reward yourself with a snack at one of the numerous alpine pastures.

Dogs are very welcome in our hotel. However, we ask that you enquire about your four-legged friends before booking.

One dog is allowed per room. Your dog is welcome in the restaurant at any time. Some dog breeds are not allowed in the accommodation. Not all rooms are available for dogs.
